Twitter blames Ciara for Seattle Seahawks’ loss to Rams

For the second consecutive Seattle Seahawks’ loss, Twitter is having fun at their expense. 

Last February, Twitter had legendary responses after the Seattle Seahawks lost in the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots when Russell Wilson threw an interception on the goal-line.

After the Seahawks’ disappointing loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, we see nothing has changed.

Twitter once again had fun at the Seahawks’ expense as various tweeters blamed Ciara for ruining Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Ciara being Wilson’s girlfriend.

There are one of two reasons why Seahawks’ fans are launching their Twitter attack on Ciara.

The first reason is that Wilson is off his game because of his pledge of abstinence with Ciara. There certainly can be a case made that lack of bedroom activity impacts one’s everyday functioning. Though, Wilson probably does not fall into that category.

Wilson was 32-of-41 passing on Sunday for a total of 251 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception. Wilson also rushed for 31 yards on eight attempts. In other words, it was a typical day at the office for Wilson.

That brings us to other reason why Seahawks’ fans are blaming Ciara.

This reason being that Ciara is taking Wilson’s attention away from football. Also known as the reason any NFL fan base uses when their star quarterback dates a celebrity.

Here’s a thought. Instead of blaming Ciara, how about Seahawks fans blame their college-esque special teams play in overtime?
