Terrance Williams-WR-Dallas Cowboys (44.6%)

The top option available on the fantasy football waiver wire was not on my list last week, but he’s set up for a huge few weeks as he suddenly becomes the top receiver for the Cowboys.  Williams will have to step up in a big way for the next five or six weeks while Dez Bryant recovers from a Jones fracture (no relation to Jerry that we know of) in his foot.

Williams has been a solid receiver for the Cowboys, but he has been overshadowed by Bryant and Jason Witten who have soaked up most of Tony Romo’s targets.  With Bryant missing the next few weeks, Williams has a chance to emerge as the team’s go-to weapon.

On Sunday against the Giants, Williams caught five passes for 60 yards on eight targets.  Williams didn’t find the end zone, but three of his catches came on the Cowboys two late scoring drives that won them the game.

While Jason Witten will still get his looks, Williams should get enough targets to be a WR2 or WR3 this week as the Cowboys go on the road to Philadelphia for what should be an NFC East shootout.  Last night, the Eagles secondary looked beatable and Julio Jones posted a huge game, so you should be able to count on Williams who should be one of Tony Romo’s favorite targets for the next few weeks.
