Golden State Warriors new arena looks really cool (Video)

The Golden State Warriors are getting a new arena in 2017 and the first 3D renderings of the complex looks unbelievable.

Even before the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals this past season, they were going to be getting a swanky new downtown stadium in San Francisco. This isn’t something that their loyal Oakland fans were happy about as it’s yet another thing that couldn’t wait to leave Oakland, but at the very least the city saw a title before the Dubs left.

As for the Warriors new home, fans in San Francisco will be able to watch one of the most exciting young teams in one of the swankiest new stadiums in sports. We saw our first good look at what the new Warriors arena will look like when it’s finished, and it’s an immersive basketball experience.

This is a lot better than the toilet bowl idea that we saw, and it also seems to really fit the Warriors style. It’s really flashy, as new stadiums need to be, and it just sort of blends in with the city. But it’s special in that it’s on prime real estate in the bay, it’s flashiness serves a purpose and everything looks like it’s going to effectively work together.

Oh architecture, why must you alway be so awesome?
