After making several criticisms of the Seattle Seahawks‘ play-calling, Marshawn Lynch’s mom is defending her comments

Delisa Lynch isn’t backing down from her comments about the play-calling by the Seattle Seahawks. After the controversial play call that ended Super Bowl XLIX to the loss in Week One against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, Marshawn Lynch’s mom has not been happy.

She even went as far as to call for Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell to be fired, like many Seahawks fans did after the call at the end of the Super Bowl. Despite how harsh her comments may have been and her understandable frustration with the plays being called, she isn’t apologizing for her comments.

She made a statement on her Twitter account, where she admitted that perhaps she didn’t use the best platform when making the comments she did. Still, she emphasized that she would remain critical when criticisms are due.

Two games in a row now, the Seattle Seahawks have made some strange play calls, and if you go back to the NFC Championship Game, where they escaped with a win, the play calling wasn’t that great their either. When the Seahawks threw a pass at the end of the Super Bowl, it had everyone talking for months. People are still talking about it. When they ran a fourth-and-one from a shotgun formation against the best defensive line in football, people lost their minds about that play too.

The Seahawks are one of the most talented teams in the NFL and are stacked at many positions. For the talent they have, one would think that the offense should have some symmetry with the time they’ve spent together. Whether it’s Bevell’s play calls or the plays just not simply being executed on the field, something is wrong with the Seahawks in end of game situations lately.

It’s become noticeable to everyone, and Marshawn Lynch’s mom is not happy about it and wants to see her son and the Seahawks start excelling in those situations.
