Blake Griffin admitted that he would love to maybe spread his acting wings a little more by being a part of Space Jam 2

Everyone recently has been excited by the news that there will more than likely be a “Space Jam 2” in our near future. Right now everyone is just anticipating more announcements about the potential project, especially who will land some of the starring roles. Of course, we all expect that LeBron James will take the lead role in the film much like Michael Jordan did in the first edition, but who else would be suitable for another rendition of “Space Jam?”

Well, how about Blake Griffin, who just so happens to be pretty interested in taking the project on if someone asks him.

During a recent interview with Basketball Insiders, when asked about potentially doing something with “Space Jam 2,” Griffin seemed pretty pumped about the possibility.

"“Oh absolutely, absolutely. I’d love to be involved in any capacity, really. Space Jam was a huge part of my childhood. I actually had a Space Jam themed birthday party as a teen. Then, when I turned 21, my friends got me a Space Jam cake again just to re-live the glory days. It has been a big thing for me so being able to be involved in any capacity would be great, even just being one of the guys that’s in there would be cool."

Hey, you have to admit that Griffin would fit in pretty well. From all the commercials that he’s been in that we’ve seen, he has quite the sense of humor to get the job done. With LeBron receiving rave reviews for his acting efforts in “Trainwreck,” it might be even harder for Griffin to land the lead role. However, you can see him fitting in there somewhere.
