James Corden joins Raiders, kicks field goal (Video)

Late Late Show host James Corden joined the Oakland Raiders and kicked a field goal in front of a packed stadium.
While Stephen Colbert taking over for David Letterman has dominated the late night show headlines, Late Late Show host James Corden has been quietly killing it. He has a popular carpool karaoke segment that has featured some incredible stars joining him for his drive to work.
Corden is also a bit bold, and the Englishman decided to try his hand at American football. He hilariously trains with a high school coach before annoucning that he’d be joining the Oakland Raiders to kick a field goal in front of a packed house.
Before going into the game, Corden tries his hand at tailgating and familiarizing himself with Raider Nation. They weren’t a fan of his English spread.
Then came time to kick the field goal and he shanked it to the right, a rather disappointing finish.
Corden was able to talk his way into getting a second chance at the kick, the stipulation being that it had to be from 10 yards further back. Corden accepted and drilled the second, longer kick through the uprights to vindicate himself.
