You would think that people in Chicago would notice their most famous baseball player, but no, they don’t

Right now, there is not a more famous baseball player in the city of Chicago than Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant. Could we argue that soon he might even be near Derrick Rose status? I mean, considering how well he’s done in his rookie season after all the hype, you might have an argument there. That being the case, you would think that people in the city of Chicago would recognize him when they see him in public.

Well … not so much. As a matter of fact, it turns out that they wouldn’t even recognize him if he was driving them around in a car. Seriously.

Bryant recently went undercover for the “Undercover Lyft” series and we came to find out that the folks in the Windy City aren’t all that familiar with the young man that could be pivotal in getting them that thing they’ve coveted for so long. You know, that World Series title thing.

All joking aside, it was pretty hilarious.

That’s just disappointing, Chicago people! You talk all the time about how you’d love nothing more than to see the Cubs win the World Series, but you can’t even tell who Kris Bryant is. For shame!
