Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh is already in hot water after only two games into his tenure with the team.

The Miami Dolphins paid former Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh $114 million earlier this year in hopes of him anchoring their defense for years to come. Suh received this money despite his reputation for being a dirty player, allegedly trying to injure opposing team’s members.

Well, there’s something new to add to the list because according to CBS Sports, Suh reportedly ignored Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle’s play calls on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Suh’s inability to follow the play calls supposedly caused confusion on the defense through the game.

Reached after the game for comment, Suh was vocal about changing up the play calls in a way that benefits that team.

"“At the end of the day, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we want to run so guys can make plays and go from there.” – Ndamukong Suh (h/t Miami Herald)"

It should be noted that the Dolphins defense is 27th in rushing yards allowed, despite being touted for having a great run defense before the season started. Getting the entire team on the same page will certainly go a long way toward that end.

This is obviously alarming for the Dolphins, as they’re already dealing with Suh’s character problems just two games in. However, it’s something they will either have to deal with or try to fix as soon as possible because of the massive guarantee they gave the former Nebraska Cornhusker. If they can’t correct this problem, this could be a long season on defense for the Dolphins.

You can also bet every single play he’s out on the field for will be critiqued more than ever, even after his foot stomps of players over the years. If he can’t play inspired football after receiving such a massive contract, what will it take?
