DraftKings week 3 fantasy football picks
High Priced Wide Receivers
Antonio Brown (8,900): Brown is crazy expensive, but its hard to argue with his back-to-back weeks of over 30 DraftKings points. He posted an immense 39.5 last week against the 49ers, and will look to continue his dominance this week on the turf in St. Louis. With Le’Veon Bell returning, Brown could get fewer looks, but since he’s still the only real receiving threat and the Steelers throw the ball all day long, he’s always a good play if you can afford the money.
Randall Cobb (7,300): No team in the NFL has given up more DraftKings points to opposing wide receivers than the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though Randall Cobb has been dealing with a shoulder injury, hopefully the extra day this week gives him a chance to get even healthier as he prepares for what should be a thrilling Monday Night Football game. Cobb caught eight of 11 targets on Sunday even against the “Legion of Boom” for 116 yards, so he should be able to take advantage of the Chiefs secondary for a big week-closing game on Monday.
Julian Edelman (7,000): Edelman is consistently productive and has posted almost identical lines in both of the Patriots wins this season. He caught 11 passes for 97 yards in each of the first two weeks but he added in a pair of trips to the end zone in week 2 in Buffalo. He posted over 20 DraftKings points in both weeks, though, and will again be a good pick this week since he gets so much attention from Tom Brady in the Patriots passing game. Edelman is almost always a good play in PPR formats like DraftKings.
Brandon Marshall (6,200): Marshall has caught a touchdown in each of his first two games with the Jets and totaled 163 yards on his 13 catches. He has over 18 DraftKings points in each of his first two games and is in a pretty good matchup this week against the Eagles. Eric Decker is also dealing with an injury which could lead to more Marshall targets.
