It is Week 3 of the National Football League season, and already things are completely upside down. The Indianapolis Colts, who were supposed to roll through the AFC and get to the Super Bowl, have been pathetic and sit 0-2. Meanwhile, the New York Jets, who were thought to be a dead ringer for last place in the AFC East, look impressive at 2-0.
There are plenty of other teams to talk about as well. The Philadelphia Eagles have been truly awful thus far and might be even worse with the news that running back DeMarco Murray is a game-time decision after hurting his hamstring in practice this week. Then again, considering DeMarco Murray only has 11 rushing yards through two weeks, what is the loss? Finally, the New England Patriots are an absolute force of nature … again. Tom Brady is leading the league in passing yards and has seven touchdowns without an interception. Early returns have the Patriots as the favorite in the AFC, with everybody else in the trail position.

As you can see, nobody is buying that the Eagles are any good. How could you with Kiko Alonso set to miss Sunday’s game, Murray questionable and Sam Bradford playing like he wants to sabotage the season? Meanwhile, there is plenty of faith that the Chicago Bears will not be completely blown out. Since I am the only person that picked the Seattle Seahawks to cover their enormous spread, maybe I am the damn fool. The mild shock is all six experts rolling with the Kansas City Chiefs to cover the touchdown against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are unstoppable at Lambeau Field, but maybe the thought is Jamaal Charles running wild.
