The Green Bay Packers have upgraded running back Eddie Lacy and wide receiver Davante Adams to probable for Monday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Tom Pelissero.

Green Bay watched both Lacy and Adams sustain injuries in their Sunday Night Football win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. Lacy left in the first quarter with an ankle injury, while Adams followed suit in the second quarter. Adams returned to the game in the second half, but was clearly running at half-speed. The duo practiced to a limited extent this week, and were previously listed as questionable.

With Jordy Nelson in the fold, Lacy and Adams have become the main weapons for All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers to utilize. Lacy has been solid thus far in 2015, rushing for 94 yards on 4.2 yards per carry with a touchdown. Meanwhile, Adams has amassed nine catches for 92 yards after being elevated to the No. 2 wideout behind Randall Cobb.

However, not all the Packers will be on the field against the Chiefs. Safety Morgan Burnett has been ruled out with a calf injury. Burnett was out in Week 1 before playing in Week 2.

The loss of Burnett really hurts the run defense of Green Bay, especially against Jamaal Charles. Still, the Packers are seven-point favorites for good reason.
