20. 53. 27. 28. Final

The Oakland Raiders just might be for real. For the second consecutive week, Oakland’s offense put up some solid numbers in a victory. This week’s victory came at the hands of the Cleveland Browns, who sputtered for a large part of the day behind Josh McCown.

Derek Carr and Amari Cooper have officially planted their flag as one of the league’s best quarterback/wide receiver duos – hooking up eight times out of 11 targets for 134 yards – and Latavius Murray put up some big numbers. The Raiders’ defense was herky jerky, starting strongly before ceding more ground in each subsequent quarter.

For the Browns, questions will undoubtedly arise on whether they should stick with McCown or jump back over to Johnny Manziel. McCown was 28-for-49 and threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns. However, he also had an interception, was sacked five times and had moments where he sprayed the ball all over the field.

Cleveland hung tough and made a run at the end of the game – largely on the backs of Gary Barnidge (6 rec, 105 yards, 1 TD) and Brian Hartline (5 rec, 96 yards) – but a poor showing on the ground – 39 total yards – hamstrung the team.

Three stars

Derek Carr: 20/32, 314 yards, 2 TD

Amari Cooper: 8 rec, 134 yards

Latavius Murray: 26 rushes, 139 yards, 1 TD
