NFL team logos transformed into Family Guy characters is pretty amazing

Family Guy continues to be one of the most popular shows on television, and it has cemented itself as one of the elite primetime cartoon shows. Seth MacFarlane’s hit show has remained popular enough for NFL fans to alter team logos to fit key characters from the show in them, apparently.

A graphic artist named AK did exactly this on his Instagram account, which has the username ak47_studios. Most of the main characters are involved in the illustrations.

The Tennessee Titans logo was changed to have Joe Swanson, one of Peter Griffin’s neighbors and closest friends, edited in.

Joe is best known for being the paraplegic character who stays in stronger physical shape than his friends despite his condition, which makes him a fit for a team with a mighty mascot like the Titans.

The Detroit Lions also received the honor of having a character edited in, as Brian Griffin, the family dog, replaced the lion as the mascot. The team name was cleverly changed to the Brians.

The New England Patriots had Peter placed on the face part of the team’s logo, which is fitting since he played as an offensive lineman for the Patriots in the episode titled “Patriot Games.”

Peter’s wife, Lois, was featured on the Denver Broncos. While there is no background story that can be thought of, Lois’ face was easy to place on the Broncos face part with her orange hair conveniently behind her.

The most fitting logo of all, though, may be Glenn Quagmire, who is also one of Peter’s closest friends. His oddly shaped face was placed over the Green Bay Packers logo, which is an oddly shaped G.

Quagmire’s first name starting with a G may also explain why he was chosen to be on the Packers logo.
