Happy Sunday! Week 3 was anything but kind to anyone who jumped on board with us in this space. After back-to-back strong performances to begin the season, the wheels came flying off the wagon last Sunday, as the public put together a triumphant performance against us.

Still, there is reason to be optimistic given a record over .500 through three weeks (15 picks), and adversity will never get us down. Keep in mind that we “fade the public” here, zigging when everyone else zags, and so on. Let’s examine where we are for the season after last week’s painful showing:

  • Last week: 1-4
  • Season: 8-7

Without any additional delay, here are this week’s picks:

Miami Dolphins (+2) over New York Jets

It is now or never for the Dolphins, and I just can’t look away.

For me, Miami is still the better team of the two, and at worst, this game should be a pick’em on a neutral field in London. However, the public is already tired of the Dolphins after a few no-show performances, and we’ll look to take advantage of that overreaction here.

I’ll be the first to admit that Miami is brutal to back after what we’ve seen to this point, but the public likes the Jets at more than a 75% clip, and that means we’re going the other way with a vengeance.
