Boobie Dixon-Buffalo Bills (1.1%)

Dixon has done next to nothing this season, but he gets a spot on my list of waiver wire running backs due to the opportunity that is right in front of him.  Dixon could be a primary back for a few weeks which is something almost impossible to find on the waiver wire.

Dixon is the third RB in Buffalo, but LeSean McCoy missed week 4 and is in doubt for week 5.  The latest news as of Sunday was that he had a “new tear” in his hamstring and could miss 3-4 weeks.  McCoy’s replacement, Karlos Williams got off to a fast start, but he sustained a concussion in Sunday’s loss to New York which leaves him highly questionable to play on Sunday.

Dixon could end up with the workload if Williams can’t make it back in time as the Bills take on the shaky Titans defense.  If Dixon gets the start, he’s a long-shot flier who could definitely pay off for the next few weeks.
