Twitter reaction to USC head coach Steve Sarkisian’s temporary leave of absence
USC head coach Steve Sarkisian was given a temporary leave of absence earlier today and fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts.
A short time ago, news broke that USC head coach Steve Sarkisian would be placed on a temporary leave of absence from the program at the request of AD Pad Haden. Offensive coordinator Clay Helton will take over as the interim head coach.

Sarkisian has had a rough past few months. His wife is divorcing him, he had an alcohol incident with a booster in the summer and the Trojans are playing below their expectations at 3-2. This has led to many fans and people in the media speculating that he could or should be fired.
Fans would take to Twitter to show a tremendous amount of support for the USC coach. People know this is a serious problem, so it’s best to not make disparaging comments his way.
Obviously this is significant news for the Trojans, but here’s to hoping Steve Sarkisian can get the life help he needs. It’s a hard road

If Sarkisian is suffering from alcoholism, it’s best that he gets the proper treatment before returning to the sidelines. His life off the field comes first. Hopefully, he’s able to recover from the problems he is facing.
