Andrew Luck was seen practicing in full for the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been missing for the past two games due to a right shoulder injury, but Matt Hasselbeck has been able to lead the team to two consecutive victories. The Colts will be hoping to see Luck return as quickly as possible, though, since they will next have to face the New England Patriots.

Fortunately for them, Luck was a full participant for the Colts in their Monday practice.

Luck suffered his shoulder injury in a Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, and he was unable to recover from that in time to play again for a couple of weeks. There is still no confirmation that Luck will take the field on Sunday Night Football for Week 6, but his full Monday participation indicates that he will return for the most important game of the season.

The Colts are still looking to prove that their early season struggles are behind them, as Hasselbeck’s wins came against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. Both of these teams have a 1-4 record and the Patriots will provide the hardest match up for the Colts this season, as they are still undefeated with a 4-0 record. Luck has notably struggled in all of his games against the Patriots, whether it is in the regular season or playoffs.

Luck has an 0-4 record against the Patriots while throwing 10 interceptions throughout all of his career games against them. It will be difficult for him to keep up with Tom Brady and a Patriots offense that has averaged 37.2 points and 423.8 yards per game. However, Luck still offers the best chance for the Colts to win, especially if he can regain his form that has led many analysts to label him an elite quarterback.
