Curt Schilling is saying things again that ESPN might fire him for

Curt Schilling really should just keep his opinions to himself.

The first Democratic presidential debate took place on Wednesday night and a variety of issues were obviously discussed. Apparently none of what was said was to the liking of former MLB All-Star pitcher Curt Schilling, who has made a habit of spouting out incredibly moronic hot takes. However, this one takes the cake.

Donald Trump was live-tweeting the Democratic debate, which isn’t even the craziest part of what happened. A little over an hour into the debate, Trump asked a simple, civil question:

That’s when Schilling chimed in with possibly the most ridiculous thing a human being has ever said:

Regardless of political affiliation, that is just outright stupidity at its climax. How is that your response to that question in the first place? More than that, how do you think that it’s a good idea to tweet that?

Schilling was suspended in late August of this year for another moronic social media post when he tweeted a meme comparing Muslims to Nazis. That got him suspended from his Little League World Series coverage duties at ESPN. You have to expect that saying presidential candidates are letting ISIS win will bring another suspension Schilling’s way.

Everyone says dumb things from time to time, but not everyone tweets them out for their 135,000 followers and the world to see. At this point, Schilling should probably just take his keyboard, his phone, and his ridiculous scalding-hot takes and just bury them all in the backyard. It’s better for everyone—especially himself—that way.
