Report: Lamar Odom found unconscious in brothel, airlifted to hospital

Lamar Odom was reportedly airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel

Lamar Odom hasn’t played in an NBA game since the 2012-13 season and reports surrounding his life off the court have painted a harrowing picture for the 2010-11 Sixth Man of the Year. Things are now more dire than ever for Odom as he’s reportedly fighting for his life.

According to TMZ Sports, Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel before he was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. He has since been airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital for further treatment after the incident.

TMZ says that Odom checked into the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada on Saturday and had been there since, reportedly taking an “herbal substitute for Viagra” while “partying with the girls for days.” However, things took a harrowing turn as someone entered his room on Tuesday afternoon and found him facedown and unconscious. When they turned him over, there was “fluid streaming out of his mouth.”

The reports also state that the 35-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers player was intubated at the local hospital he was initially taken to, which is a sign that Odom was unable to breathe on his own accord when he arrived there via ambulance.

Details are obviously still coming forward about the situation and about Odom’s condition, but these reports undoubtedly paint a frightening picture for a man who was once one of the most unique and talented players in the NBA.
