Top 10 current NFL rivalries
9. Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks
This was never a rivalry until last year, when one of the most incredible games in NFL history took place at CenturyLink Field. In the 2014 NFC Championship game, the Seahawks were trailing throughout the contest, mostly because quarterback Russell Wilson could do absolutely nothing but turn the ball over all game. Then, suddenly, the Seahawks scored two touchdowns in the final three minutes of regulation. Wilson then atoned for his earlier mistakes and hit Jermaine Kearse with a beautiful deep ball in overtime, sending Seattle to the Super Bowl.
Flash forward to 2015, and the teams met in a hard-hitting Week 2 game on Sunday Night Football that had America’s attention. After the game, Green Bay’s MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers took a thinly-veiled shot at Wilson, saying that he believed God was on the Packers’ side for the contest. If these two teams see each other in the postseason, it would be epic.
