#59 for the San Diego Chargers sat down for a leisurely lunch and ate an ungodly amount of food.

Football players at the professional level must stay at the top of their game and that means making sure they’re feeding their bodies the right amounts of food. Well according to a short video that Bleacher Report shared with us earlier this week, for Brock Hekking proper nutrition means copious amounts of meat, a bit of veggies in the form of fries all washed down with a Mountain Dew to the tune of 21,396 total calories. Oh, he happened to have two ears of corn just to keep things light. Check out the 30-second clip below!

Many fans of Hekking haven’t seen the epic mullet defensive lineman much this season due to an injury that’s sidelined the University of Nevada grad. It’s possible all that sideline sitting has gotten the 255-pound linebacker extra hungry. If you’re wondering exactly what he ate, Bleacher Report graciously posted the entire menu in their description.

"2 racks of beef ribs2 racks of baby back ribs1 whole chicken 2 pulled pork sandwiches1 giant sausage1 pound of mac and cheeseLarge side of friesLarge Onion RingsBite of coleslaw2 ears of corn64-ounce Mountain Dew"

What’s most impressive about this feat of eating is that it took him all of 42 minutes and 38 seconds. One glance at the stack of plates to the left and right of him and you could’ve sworn he was eating at a Japanese Sushi small plates restaurant. Let’s hope all that Phils BBQ helps his injured foot recover faster. If the NFL doesn’t work out for Hekking, at least we know he can cut it as a competitive eater.
