The Levi’s Stadium turf is still probably the worst in the entire league and we were proven that again on Sunday

Next: Biggest NFL Divas of All-Time

Since it opened last season, there has been one issue that’s always brought up when we talk about Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. While it is a gorgeous facility like a lot of new NFL stadiums recently, the turf is just awful. Really, there is no other way to explain it; it’s literally the worst field turn in all of the NFL, and Sunday we found out why once again.

In the fourth quarter of the Week 6 game between the 49ers and the Ravens, Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker was out there to try and get his team three points on the board as they look to come back and win this one. That’s where it was once again made pretty evident that something needs to give here with this grass.

Just watch the enormous crater that emerges when Tucker plants his foot to get the kick off.

Enough has to be enough with this San Fran turf already, this is getting out of hand now. You see something like this and then you remember that the Super Bowl is going to be played there. That … that is not a lovely thought. What if that turf ends up impacting the biggest sporting event of the year?

Not to mention, Tucker is lucky that he didn’t severely tear his knee up here.

Something needs to change here and it needs to change fast.
