No. 15 Texas A&M (+5.5) over No. 24 Ole Miss

Ole Miss should be favored in this game because, well, the action is taking place in Oxford. Still, Texas A&M is simply the better team in my view, meaning that the line should be less than a field goal, even in hostile territory. Somewhat inexplicably, Vegas does not agree in posting a line that is closer to seven than three, and taking the free candy is an easy choice for me. Texas A&M’s pass defense is real behind Myles Garrett and a stellar pass rush, and barring a heroic effort from Chad Kelly, I think the Aggies win outright. If you don’t want to take the risk on the money line, feel comfortable in taking A&M and the points.

Kansas (+34) over No. 14 Oklahoma State

For the uninitiated, Kansas is probably the worst power-five team in college football. The Jayhawks are absolutely brutal in every facet of the game, and that is the only way that Las Vegas can justify a five-touchdown spread in a conference game that does not involve a top-10 team nationally. However, it does seem like the sharp money (if there is any) will come in on Kansas, and because I don’t fully buy in to Oklahoma State as an elite team, laying five touchdowns is simply out of the question. Feel free to stay away because, well, the Jayhawks are impossible to gauge virtually every week, but if forced to make a pick, the points are the only play.
