The Seattle Seahawks will look to keep their season from getting away from them, as they travel to play their rival, the San Francisco 49ers.

Everything is on the line in Santa Clara, on Thursday night, as the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers do battle in hopes of keeping their seasons alive. Both teams come into the game 2-4 and are looking to be able to keep pace with the Arizona Cardinals, who currently lead the division by two games.

Seattle is coming off yet another fourth quarter collapse and people are beginning to wonder if this is the end of the Seahawks run that they have been on the last few seasons. Their secondary, which has been great early in games, has been one of the worst in the league when it matters late in the fourth quarter and suddenly the vaunted Seattle defense, no longer has that same look to them they once had.

On offense, the Seahawks are still trying to find some rhythm. Behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, Russell Wilson has been on the run almost every single play, and through six games has been sacked six times. On the road in a hostile environment, it won’t be any easier as the 49ers will be looking to dial up the pressure all night.

For the 49ers, it’s all about having the opportunity to shovel dirt on their rival’s season. With a golden opportunity in their hands, they can send the Seahawks to a crushing defeat, that would give them five losses before the end of October.

It looks like the 49ers might have some guys healthy enough to play too, with reports that Anquan Boldin, Carlos Hyde and Reggie Bush all look ready to play at home against Seattle. Colin Kaepernick has looked more comfortable in recent weeks, and the 49ers offense is starting to find themselves a little bit.

The stakes for both of these teams are big and they both know it. It should be a war at Levi’s Stadium

Pick: San Francisco 19, Seattle 16
