The Seattle Seahawks went on the road and pounded the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on Thursday Night Football, 20-3. Seattle was able to improve to 3-4 on the season, while San Francisco stays in last place of the NFC West with a 2-5 mark under first-year head coach Jim Tomsula.

49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was rancid throughout the night, behind his putrid offensive line. Kaepernick was wildly inaccurate on passes to the sideline, hitting overall on 13-0f-24 passes for a measly 124 yards. All told, Seattle sacked Kaepernick six times and held the 49ers to 142 total yards.

Highlights

Three Stars

1. Marshawn Lynch

Lynch was the star of the show, carrying 27 times for 122 yards and a touchdown. Lynch scored the first points of the game, and it ultimately proved to be enough. Lynch ran tough throughout the evening, showcasing his trademark toughness both between the tackles and on the second level.

2. Tyler Lockett

The rookie out of Kansas State University continues to show why he was a great value pick in the third round. Lockett caught a beautiful 43-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, putting Seattle up 17-0 and basically ending the competitive phase of the game. Lockett finished with five catches, 72 yards and a score.

3. Russell Wilson

Wilson was not great, but he was good enough to get the job done. Under immense pressure all game behind the worst offensive line in the NFL (Wilson was sacked five times by San Francisco), Wilson completed 18-of-24 throws for 235 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

Odds

Seattle was favored by 6.5 points and easily covered the spread against San Francisco.
