The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets in a contentious game on Sunday.

23. 30. Final. 30. 47

The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets thanks to a strong fourth quarter with two touchdowns. A touchdown pass to Danny Amendola midway through the fourth quarter gave the Patriots the lead.

In a the final two minutes, Brady found tight end Rob Gronkowski to score the insurance touchdown and extend their lead to 10 points.

At one point during the third quarter, Gronkowski left the game briefly to go to the locker room, but returned quickly. Could have been an equipment malfunction or bathroom break, but had fans concerned about a possible injury.

After the Gronkowski touchdown, the Jets converted a field goal and then went for an onside kick and recovered the ball. They made a valiant drive to get downfield and threaten to tie the game but they couldn’t stop the clock because they were out of timeouts and the Patriots hung on to win.
