Panthers vs Eagles live stream: Start time, TV channel and how to watch online
Carolina Panthers vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Carolina Panthers are one of the surprise teams of the 2015 season and it looks like they have a solid chance to begin the year 6-0 with Cam Newton’s top target from a season ago, Kelvin Benjamin, as he’s out for the season with an ACL tear.
What does that mean for this offense? Well, the passing attack isn’t exactly potent as only two receivers have surpassed the 100-yard mark this year and Newton has just 1,078 passing yards and eight touchdowns with four interceptions. Luckily for him, Jonathan Stewart is off to a solid start, rushing for 298 yards and two touchdowns, but he will need to be more effective as an every-down back.
The Eagles’ DeMarco Murray had not been completely feeling like himself for the past few weeks to start the year, but he’s ready to prove that he’s not a one-season wonder and he finally put together a string of solid games. He has just 242 yards and three touchdowns this season, but his average of 3.5 yards per carry needs to improve drastically.
Sam Bradford is another new face in this offense as the first-year starter for the Eagles has been relatively average, completing about 63 percent of his passes for 1,561 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. I think everyone is still waiting for Jordan Matthews to have a monster receiving game, though.
