Hey Fox Sports — if you switch games right in the middle of the Saints kicking some serious butt your gonna have a bad time.

A couple of New Orleans Saints fans got a rude awakening right in the middle of NOLA laying the smack down on the Indianapolis Colts earlier this weekend when Fox Sports prematurely switched broadcasts on them mid-game.

The Saints officially went on twitter earlier yesterday (Oct. 25, 2015) after the fact and let Fox Sports know exactly how they felt. The score was 27-0 and there was still plenty of  game time left when the Fox Sports Network decided to switch to a Washington Red Skins versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers game that happened to be going on at the same time (as games often do on any given weekend.) Check out a couple of upset fans on social media making the rounds below.

Thankfully (for Saints fans) they did end up winning after the Colts made two touchdowns in the third quarter which many fans didn’t get to see. The final score was 27-21.

And if you were wondering what #HeidiBowl was in reference to in last tweet we reposted, the Heidi Bowl was a controversial American Football League broadcast that saw the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets face off in an epic three hour plus long game.

NBC, only being used to games lasting two and a half hours at most, decided to pull the plug on that game and opted to broadcast the television film Heidi instead. NBC received some very strongly worded letters in response to that call. Of course, back then social media wasn’t a thing so NBC had a bit of a breather before they could come up with an official apology.
