The 2015 National Football League season has not been going well for the Detroit Lions. After winning 11 games in 2014 and reaching the playoffs in the first year of head coach Jim Caldwell’s tenure, the Lions have completely fallen apart.

Detroit is tied for the worst record in football with a 1-6 mark, something of a stunner even with the offseason losses of Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. This week, the Lions are across the pond to play the Kansas City Chiefs in London, England on Sunday. Running back Joique Bell thought he was taking advantage of a day off abroad on Tuesday when he went shopping with Theo Riddick among other ventures.

Bell unfortunately had no mode of transportation outside of Uber, which hit him hard in the wallet, per ESPN.

"“We went down to London,” Bell told reporters in England. “We went to Harrod’s. We went to Zara. I was ready to go within two hours. We had to wait three hours for Theo [Riddick] really to finish shopping. So we left there, went to go get a bit to eat and caught a very expensive Uber ride back up here.”"

The cost of this trip? $283.54. Can you imagine running up a tab like that on Uber? You would probably prefer to jump out of the Uber while you were on the highway rather than pay that kind of fare.

With the way the season has been going in Detroit, maybe the best move would have been taking the Uber to the airport.
