Jeremiah Ratliff was all over the place with the Bears just a short time before he was cut from the team, apparently

Last week the Chicago Bears cut defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff, and since then, we’ve been learning a little more about the disturbing behavior that he was exhibiting. With some new information we’re learning now on Friday, he apparently went so far as to wish ill will on people’s family members.

According to TMZ, who has obtained the police report from the incident, Ratliff went into the Bears’ facility a day before he was cut and he was making some pretty outlandish statements. He first walked into the building and noted that he felt like murdering everyone that was around. Next, he would tell some that he was the devil, and then he went the route of telling a Bears staff member that he wished his children would die.

The Bears were obviously concerned for the safety of those working in the building at the time, and you can pick that right up with the 911 call below.

All around, this is just a terrible situation that the Bears had to go through last week with Ratliff. However, if there is a small bright side to this for now, it’s the fact that the TMZ report also states that since the incident, Ratliff has not been back to the facility and there have been no other issues.

But, Ratliff needs some serious help it seems, and hopefully now he can get that.
