It only took about four days for the NBA to be back into fully chaotic, fun mode and as we should have expected, Russell Westbrook was heavily involved. The chaos started towards the end of regulation in Orlando where the young feisty Orlando Magic were trying to hold off the Oklahoma City Thunder who mounted a furious comeback from a second half double-digit deficit.

It all started when Kevin Durant calmly drained a three-pointer with under twenty seconds to play to tie the game for the Thunder.

After Durant missed basically all of last season due to three foot surgeries, it was nice to see him back hitting big shots late in games. Of course, that shot is like the third most impressive thing that happened in Orlando because through two games it looks like the Magic are destined to be one of the most entertaining teams in basketball this season.

After a timeout, Victor Oladipo hit a really impressive step back three over a really good defender in Andre Roberson. Considering  the shot went through the basket with just 3.9 seconds left and the Thunder were without timeouts, it seemed like the Magic had the game won.

But Russell Westbrook had other ideas.

The game then went into overtime where Westbrook took over for a few minutes to give the Thunder the lead, which they still hold by a single point as of this writing.

Welcome back crazy NBA basketball. It has been far too long.
