High School Football player lands hilarious RKO on a teammate in practice during a tackling drill.

High school football seasons are in full swing like the NFL season, but one high school in North Dakota has taken tackling to a whole new level.

With a lot more awareness about concussions in the NFL, the proper tackling form is being stressed at a young age. In a normal tackling drill in practice for the Watford City High Wolves, one of their players, Cooper Knutson, might have shown us a whole new way to tackle.

Knutson is seen landing an RKO on one of his teammates instead of the normal way of tackling. For those not familiar with what an RKO is, it is the finishing move of WWE superstar Randy Orton.

Orton is a multiple-time WWE Champion and is one of the most recognizable wrestlers in the business today. The success of Orton as a wrestler has also led to him having quite the following for his finishing move. One of the most popular memes and vines on the internet are of people doing RKO’s to friends, or even pictures of Orton himself doing it in videos to people falling.

The high school football player will now become the latest internet sensation for the loyal fans of Orton who love seeing RKO’s out of nowhere.

It’s hard to imagine anyone landing an RKO in a game situation, but maybe Knutson will inspire someone to try. After a long day of classes before a football practice, the RKO by Knutson surely got a good laugh from his teammates, but probably led to him being forced to run some laps by his coaches.
