Ole Miss vs. Auburn

The No. 19 Ole Miss Rebels will hope to stay alive in the race for the SEC West when they visit Jordan-Hare stadium and the Auburn Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

Despite losing two games earlier in October, the Rebels will be headed to the SEC Championship Game if they manage to win out. Avoiding a road upset at the hands of Auburn will be the first step towards that goal.

Quarterback Chad Kelly and an outstanding group of receivers have been pacing a productive Ole Miss offense that leads the SEC in multiple categories. On the other side of the ball, the Land Shark defense appears to be back in form after dismantling Texas A&M last Saturday.

Auburn has been one of the more disappointing teams in the nation and is struggling in conference play. Freshman quarterback Sean White has helped cut down on mistakes over the past couple of weeks, but the Tigers will need to generate some big plays to pull off the upset.

A pair of defensive stars potentially returning from injury could have a huge impact. Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkmdiche has been cleared to return from a concussion, while Auburn defensive end Carl Lawson may be able to play for the first time since the opener.
