The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears squared off in a tight divisional contest.

60. Final. 0. 57. 23

Don’t look now, but the Minnesota Vikings are 5-2 on the year. The Vikings beat a beleaguered Chicago Bears team in Soldier Field on Sunday to send the Bears to 2-5.

The game wasn’t always the prettiest. Teddy Bridgewater and Jay Cutler both played lukewarm, and the difference was basically that one had a running game while the other could’ve really used the help. Adrian Peterson continued his solid comeback season with another 100-yard game. And, while he was up-and-down, Bridgewater continued to make enough plays to win the game.

Thirteen fourth quarter points by the Vikings helped fell the Bears – none of which were bigger than Blair Walsh’s game-winning 36-yard field goal as time expired.

As they head to the season’s midpoint, the Bears will look to turn things around on Monday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers. Meanwhile, the Vikings will face the St. Louis Rams.
