Ricardo Lockette suffered what might have been the scariest injury in NFL history on Sunday against the Cowboys.

Update: It appears that Lockette suffered only a concussion. He has movement in all of his extremities but is still undergoing further testing.

One the scariest injuries we’ve ever seen in NFL history happened on Sunday, as the Seahawks and Cowboys had to stop action when Ricardo Lockette went down on a hit that left him motionless.

Here’s a look at the hit that caused the delay, which doesn’t appear to be dirty at all but resulted in a scary scene afterwords.

That didn’t look like an illegal play, but it was all about how Lockett went down and then didn’t move — at all. His eyes were open, he was laying motionless and wasn’t moving a single muscle. Everyone from the Seahawks sideline came out to circle around Lockette, who remained motionless the entire time he was down.

Lockette moved his hands and gave an reassuring nod as we was being wheeled away on the cart, but we still don’t know the severity of this injury.
