Cam Newton throws touchdown to Greg Olsen (Video)

Cam Newton came through with his first touchdown pass of the game to tight end Greg Olsen in a close game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton continues to be a difference maker for the Panthers, who appear to be on track to improve their record to 7-0. He gave the Panthers a more comfortable lead at the end of the third quarter by throwing a touchdown pass to tight end Greg Olsen for 27 yards.
Olsen showed great concentration and took advantage of an Indianapolis Colts defender jumping too early, and he hauled in the catch to give the Panthers a 17-6 lead. Here is a video of Olsen continuing to be a reliable red-zone weapon.
Newton has been mentioned as an MVP candidate this season since has he has virtually nobody reliable to throw to. However, Olsen continues to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL as he has four touchdown catches while leading the Panthers in receiving yards. It cannot be said how beastly the Panthers defense has been though, as they have been the latest team to make Colts quarterback Andrew Luck look less than human.
The Panthers defense has been a staple throughout the season and helped the team start 6-0, and cornerback Josh Norman has held Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to zero catches. It remains to be seen whether the Colts can recover, but the combination of Newton and a dominant defense will spell trouble for any team that faces them.
