The New York Mets have been under a ton of pressure this season, and it apparently caught up with general manager Sandy Alderson on Wednesday morning. During his exit press conference, Alderson went to the ground before regaining his faculties and getting back onto his feet.

Luckily, Alderson appears to be alright and no disaster took place. It is unclear why Alderson collapsed, but we are just glad the man is alright.

Alderson has been under incredible pressure throughout 2015, with expectations rising by the month. The Mets were struggling to gain their footing in the first half of the season, sitting in second place of the National League East behind the Washington Nationals. Alderson then went to work on improving the lineup and bench, acquiring Juan Uribe and Kelly Johnson before landing a big fish in Yoenis Cespedes. Cespedes arguably became the best acquisition a team has made at the Major League Baseball trade deadline in years.

Alderson has been busy even in the immediate aftermath of the World Series defeat, signing manager Terry Collins to a two-year contract extension. Collins was under plenty of fire before the team went on a huge run down the stretch, with many people clamoring for a new man to lead the way.
