The Philadelphia Eagles’ players have discussed their hatred towards the Dallas Cowboys ahead of the NFC East clash this weekend.

One of the most heated rivalries in sport, never-mind simply NFL has been expressed in a recent interview with CBS Sports. The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys don’t get on. The players, the fans, the coaches. Not one are respectful of the other, and some of the Eagles’ players have displayed their feeling towards the Cowboys.

In an interview with CBS Sports 94WIP, defensive linemen, Bennie Logan stated:

"“Hatred. We hate them, they hate us, the fans hate each other. Pure hatred. They just whine and complain about everything. Shut up and play ball. I’m gonna hit you hard every snap. Stop complaining about this and this. That just bugs me. You’re a man. It’s football. Shut up and get hit and take it like a man.”"

Wow. Logan clearly doesn’t have much respect for America’s team. The sentiments were echoed by fellow Eagle, rookie corner Eric Rowe, who said:

"“From the last game, I saw at least on the offensive side, a lot of them cried a lot. They also want a lot of penalties. I saw Jason Witten, every time he was covered he looked for a flag and complained and pointed at the ref.”"

The NFC East rivals have long competed with each other, and in a woeful division, both have a shot of winning the division. A further addition to the rivalry is the offseason signing of star running back DeMarco Murray. Murray has not enjoyed his time with the Eagles so far, though he claims that he has no regrets about the summer switch. The move has only added fuel to the fire, and the fire within the Eagles’ players is most certainly blazing.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series 63-49, including beating Philadelphia 20-10 on September 20th of this season. Needless to say, the Eagles have some catching up to do in order to back up those hard thoughts.
