Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown got behind the Oakland Raiders defense and pulls in a beautiful lob pass from Ben Roethlisberger for 41-yards
The Pittsburg Steelers are glad Ben Roethlisberger is back, and so are all their fans. However, nobody is happier to see Big Ben back than Steelers wide out Antonio Brown, as he is exploding against the Raiders.
Brown already made one amazing catch on the day, but he wasn’t satisfied. Trailing 14-11 Pittsburgh looked to march down the field but first they had to convert on a thrid and seven.
On the play Big Ben took the snap and lofted a pass down the left side that fell softly into the hands of Brown who had gotten behind a couple of Raiders defenders. The play went for 41 yards, and had it not been for the sidelines, it may have gone for even more as Brown stumbled out of bounds after being pushed.
The play led to DeAngelo William running in a three yard score on fourth down, another gutsy call by head coach Mike Tomlin who successfully went for two points on an earlier three yard score by Williams.
On the day Brown has eight receptions for 152 yards after almost disappearing when Roethlisberger strained his MCL in September. He is once again looking like the best receiver in the game now that Mike Vick and Landry Jones are no longer throwing him the ball.
