A look at what the College Football Playoff rankings may look like following all of the action that we saw in Week 10

When the initial College Football Playoff rankings were released last week, we knew that the top four would not hold steady for long. It was pretty evident right off the bat that there would be some serious movement headed our way this week, especially with one game taking center stage.

On Saturday night, the No. 2 and No. 4 teams in the initial rankings did battle in Tuscaloosa, as the LSU Tigers took on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Well, after a 30-16 win, it was made pretty evident that Alabama is the superior team here as we come down the stretch, and may even be the best team in the country, early loss to Ole Miss aside.

Then we had the first No. 1 team in the rankings this season, the Clemson Tigers, go out in front of their home crowd and show everyone that the “Clemsoning” days are over and that they’re ready to eventually carry home the national championship that has eluded them since the 1981 season.

Indeed, things are getting interesting down the stretch here as we move through the month of November, so with that being the case, let’s take a look at what the second batch of College Football Playoff rankings may look like on Tuesday when they’re released.

And as always, we’re going to start with the team that will be on the outside looking in.
