Bret Bielema is just making things uncomfortable now

After the Arkansas Razorbacks upset the Ole Miss Rebels in one of the craziest overtime periods we’ve seen in quite a while in college football, Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema was obviously pumped full of adrenaline. His excitement, however, eventually led to an all-time great comedic slip of the tongue.

Bielema meant to say that he was just ready to hop on the plane; instead, Bielema said that he was ready to go “hop on the wife.” On Monday, Bielema was asked about his mixing up of words and he kept the spirit of his initial mistake alive with a mildly inappropriate, tongue-in-cheek response:

It’s not like we should really expect anything but this type of thing from Bielema. He’s always been a guy and coach who has a tendency to try and lighten things up, which sometimes leans to him crossing the line just a bit. Maybe he should stick to more hilarious slips of the tongue rather than making comments like this, though.
