Ndamukong Suh will break players if refs don’t call play dead
Ndamukong Suh has warned refs to blow plays dead or players in his path could be in danger.
Ndamukong Suh has warned officials to blow plays dead, and he has a point.
On a third-and-4 play in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, Suh grabbed hold of Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, but the officials didn’t blow the play dead. Suh spun Taylor around before he threw it away.
As you can see in the video above, Suh was less than impressed the play wasn’t blown dead. He told an official: “You gotta call that dead or I’m gonna slam the f*** out of him next time.”
On the play, the Bills were called for holding and the Dolphins accepted. The very next play, Taylor hit second-year receiver Sammy Watkins for a 44-yard touchdown. As if Suh wasn’t angry enough.
After going sack-less during his first give games as a Miami Dolphin, Suh has started to show why they spent so much money on him, making three sacks in as many games. Even though Suh has played well this season however, he hasn’t yet lived up to the six-year, $114 million contract he signed back in the spring.
With him, the Dolphins were meant to be able to shutdown the run. Against Buffalo, they allowed 266 yards on the ground, including two 100-yard rushers. LeSean McCoy piled on 112 yards from his 16 carries with a touchdown, and Karlos Williams added 110 yards and a two scores from nine carries.
Officials, take note. Blow the play dead, or angry Suh won’t hold back.
