The Charlotte Hornets and New York Knicks were in a close one tonight, but the hero of the game ended up being Cody Zeller of all people.

Steve Clifford drew up an incredible play for Zeller to get right next to the rim for an easy layup attempt. Notice how Jeremy Lin faked out his defender by making a move towards the basket first which pulled Robin Lopez away from Zeller. This gave him the space he needed to get open for the pass, and to get a shot up before Lopez had time to recover.

The most insane part though was how the shot almost didn’t count in the end.

With no time left on the clock Porzingis threw up a pretty good look from way behind the arc, and hit the shot. It looked as if he had dashed away the win that Zeller had just achieved. Unfortunately for Knicks fans though the shot was just a little too late, and Charlotte was awarded the win.
