After reports surfaced of Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins cussing out his coach George Karl after a loss, Cousins has issued a statement to apologize for his actions.

The Sacramento Kings could really go for a win or two soon.

If not, things in Sacramento are probably going to get a lot worse than they already are. Earlier today, reports surfaced of DeMarcus Cousins cussing out his head coach George Karl, after the team dropped another game at home to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

After that, reports then came out of USA Today, that George Karl could very well end up getting fired this week if the losing streak for the Sacramento Kings continues.

As if that wasn’t enough Sacramento Kings news for one day, center DeMarcus Cousins, in a statement, has apologized for his outburst after Monday’s game, just hours before the team is set to take on the Detroit Pistons at home, in a game that is eerily similar to last year’s home game against the Pistons, where Mike Malone was fired after.

In the statement, Cousins says his frustrations aren’t with any player or coach, just simply their record. He apologized for the way he acted after the game and admitted his frustrations got the better of him.

So either this is DeMarcus Cousins really being accountable for his actions after the loss, or at this point damage control from the Kings as things spiral out of control.

There’s no reason to not to believe Cousins, as he seems like an honest man willing to own up to his actions. Unfortunately, this is the Sacramento Kings, and with each passing day in that organization, gives rise to new reasons to be skeptical about what is actually going on.
