Seattle Seahawks‘ cornerback Jeremy Lane finally told the story of his experience at the Super Bowl, and it sounds awful.

There’s probably not too many people that have had a worse Super Bowl experience then Jeremy Lane. Lane of course, is most remembered for the gruesome arm injury that he suffered in Super Bowl XLIX, against the New England Patriots, which required immediate surgery.

If having immediate surgery during the Super Bowl wasn’t bad enough, Lane proceeded to tell reporters just how terrible the game really was for him.

Well if that’s not the most savage of ways to spend a Super Bowl, then what is? Lane after a terrible arm injury, woke up to see his team lose the Super Bowl. Then he drifted back to sleep thinking it was a dream, only to wake up the next day and find out the events he saw unfold, were very real.

That’s probably just as bad of a Super Bowl experience, as anyone could possibly have. Unfortunately, the bad news for Lane didn’t even end there for him, as he found out a month later, that he had another major injury.

Oh wait, it gets way worse. If bad luck hadn’t already found a way to spite this poor man into oblivion, an infection arose in his arm, which required yet another surgery on it, and even more pain and anguish for the Seahawks’ young cornerback.

Next time someone tells you they’ve had a bad day, you can remind them of the time Jeremy Lane broke his arm in the Super Bowl, woke up to see his team lose, tore his ACL a month later and got an infection in his surgically repaired arm.

If there was an award for accumulating the most bad luck possible, Jeremy Lane would probably take the award with flying colors.
