Karlos Williams was just what the Bills offense ordered with this 26-yard touchdown catch

The Buffalo Bills had been struggling to move the ball all night on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets. The Jets defense had been one of the best in the league all season and they more than lived up to that in the first half. The Bills managed only two field goals in the first half from their offense, though Buffalo did return a fumble on a kickoff for a touchdown. Karlos Williams finally got things rolling for the Buffalo offense in the second half.

After already having picked up a big first down just two plays earlier, the Bills rookie running back free-lanced a route into the middle of the field in open space. Tyrod Taylor waited until Williams was in space to make a solid throw. Williams then scampered into the end zone for the six points:

Williams has been absolutely phenomenal in his first NFL season when he’s been on the field. He missed a few games due to injury earlier in the season, but the rookie running back has scored in every game that he’s played in this season. That’s almost unheard of production from a rookie who isn’t even the featured back in an offense. He might still be playing behind LeSean McCoy, but the Bills have something special to cultivate in Williams.
