Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry was able to time a deflected pass perfectly for a touchdown catch.

The Philadelphia Eagles played through the first half of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with a ton of momentum. Everything seemed to be going their way. However, the Dolphins have roared back with a punt block and multiple touchdown passes.

Part of the Dolphins’ second half success has been due to wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who has emerged for the team as a pass-catching threat this season. He has become their best playmaker. While the Dolphins were in the red zone during today’s game, Landry got a lucky chance to shine.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill dropped back to pass but had the ball deflected by an Eagles defensive lineman. The ball floated in the air for seemingly an eternity and fell into the hands of Landry, who timed the catch perfectly.

This play made the game 20-16 in favor of the Dolphins. It gave them their first lead of the game. Now we’ll see if the Dolphins can hold onto this lead in the fourth quarter. If they can do it, this would be a huge win to give the team a bit of momentum going forward.
