If you can figure out this season in the NFL, then bully for you, El Capitan, because this sucker has taken more turns than Lombard Street.

Just two weeks ago, the Packers and Broncos were both undefeated and doing battle in what appeared to be a potential Super Bowl preview. Now in mid November both teams are slumping in the ugliest of fashions. The Packers were bullied around the ring by the Detroit Lions – at Lambeau Field, no less – before falling in a calamity of a finish. And the Broncos, well, Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre’s passing record and that’s about all the nice things one can say about Sunday’s game.

Elsewhere, the Saints are officially Viagra to all limp offenses in the land. Sure, when Eli Manning and the Giants put up big points it was questionable, though not out of the realm of possibility. On Sunday the Redskins nearly posted half-a-hundred on the (S)aints. Woof.

As for the top of the pops, the Pats stayed unbeaten with some very fortutitous plays. Meanwhile, the Panthers keep quietly rolling undefeated through a tepid schedule (and Cam Newton’s dance moves seemingly get better every week). And while the Bengals square off with a not-good Texans team on Monday Night Football, the Cardinals took it to the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football on the wings of a surprisingly efficient offense.

There’s so much coming out of this weekend that will all be summed up in the Power Rankings (remember: click the beautiful blue button below, which will take you to a sexy infinite scroll list – not an ugly slideshow, blech).

The Vikings are atop the NFC North; Johnny Manziel looks good on paper, but not on the field; the Jaguars might just be the best team in their division; and for some reason, the Lions can’t find a way to climb in our polls (I don’t make the rules; I only tally the votes).

Buckle up and let’s do the damn thang.
