With all the rumors about retired New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, answers have finally been shed about one of the more infamous ones.

One of things that made Derek Jeter so intriguing during his career besides his great play, was his life off-the-field. Everyone is aware of the publicly famous dating life of Jeter and all the women that he has dated over the years.

There’s also been plenty of rumors about Jeter and things pertaining to those dates. When Jeter appeared on ‘Undeniable with Joe Buck’ and was questioned about some rumors that have been made about him, he finally shed light on some.

One of these whispers involved the infamous gift baskets that Jeter would be rumored to give to whoever he was on a date with at the end of the night. Reportedly, in those gift baskets would be Jeter memorabilia that he would autograph for them.

Well, Jeter has finally spoken on that rumor, and it doesn’t appear that it is true.

As Jeter says in the video, it’s a dumb story and people would have to be dumber to believe it. Jeter said to Buck that he doesn’t address these things because it just creates even more rumors.

He almost seems taken aback by the fact that he would sign his own memorabilia and give it as a gift basket. Even that is too much vanity for the former captain of the Yankees.

Well, now we know that the gift basket thing never happened, and for many that was a big mystery that had to be answered.
