Clemson senior offensive lineman Daniel Stone proposed to his girlfriend during Senior Day.
All around the country college football teams are celebrating Senior Day, a day to honor the graduating class bringing them out on the field to see their families and other festivities. Clemson senior offensive lineman Daniel Stone took the festivities to the next level by proposing to his girlfriend before the game.
She clearly wasn’t expecting it and said yes, making for a special and romantic moment. The kind of things that young athletes dream about and that you only expect in romantic comedies. They’re not all that infrequent at college football games, most famously Boise State running back Ian Johnson proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend after they upset Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.
Still, the Senior Day is a special and different little wrinkle on a day meant to honor Stone.
